London in a few hours



1) FROM TOWER OF LONDON TO WESTMINSTER ABBEY, PARLIAMENT AND BIG BEN

Your quick tour of London starts at the Tower of London (Tower Hill tube station, Circle Line).

Visit the Tower if you have time, then cross the Tower Bridge and turn right towards HMS Belfast battleship. There is a museum in the battleship and in the Tower Bridge as well (with great view from both towers). 5 mins walk from the Bridge you can visit the Design museum (www.designmuseum.org).

Walking along the river you will see and can visit Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Tate Modern, Southbank Centre, Somerset House (on the other side of the river) and London Eye.

Tip: there is a cafe in Tate Modern with great view of the City, Millennium Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral.
Tip: if you want enjoy London Eye we recommend you to buy your tickets online in advance. It's cheaper and you won't need to wait in long queues.

Once you reach London Eye, cross the Westminster Bridge towards Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.

2) FROM WESTMINSTER ABBEY TO BUCKINGHAM PALACE AND HYDE PARK

From Parliament walk to Buckingham Palace via St James's Park and then relax in Hyde Park.

3) FROM HYDE PARK TO TRAFALGAR SQUARE VIA PICCADILLY CIRCUS

Take a bus or walk to Piccadilly Circus, then continue to Trafalgar Square where you can visit The National Gallery.

4) FROM TRAFALGAR SQUARE BACK TO TOWER OF LONDON VIA ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL

Take a bus number 15 from Trafalgar Square to St Paul's Cathedral and then again back to Tower of London.
